First Annual FCHS Soccer Alumni Game a Huge Success! (April 23, 2011) - Fayette County High School held its first annual Soccer Alumni Game Saturday, April 23 in Tiger Stadium. The event had over 50 former players and 8 former and current Tiger Coaches in attendance. A large crowd attended as well and was entertained by the former players reliving some of their past glories. The teams finished the game tied 3-3 after the Black team held a 2-1 halftime lead. The class of 1994 had the largest participation in the game with 8 players followed by the classes of 1999 and 2003 with 5 players each. Ed Izzo (class of 1986) was recognized as the most experienced player in the game while Jay Seago (class of 1994) was recognized as the player who traveled the furthest to play in this year's game.
