Fayette County High School is a four-year comprehensive school with an enrollment of 1344 students on a six period day. Recent graduating classes averaged 480 students with 70% completing a College Preparatory curriculum and 26% completing a Technical Career Preparatory curriculum.

Our curriculum plan, adopted by the Board of Education, helps to ensure our students receive a rigorous and competitive curriculum, which is supported by various forms of up-to-date educational technology and a well-trained educational staff.

The media center is fully funded and automated to provide students with experience in technology for information searches.

Fayette County High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
