Pick up and Departure Instructions During Exam Week

To improve traffic flow and ensure the safety of our students on exam days Tiger Trail will be closed to through traffic from 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM. Please follow the instructions below if you are planning to drive on Tiger Trail on exam days.

Entering Tiger Trail from Hood Avenue:

Vehicles Entering Tiger Trail from Hood Avenue will NOT have access to the student parking lots. To pick your student up please turn right before the school (in between faculty parking and the soccer field next door), turn left to enter the faculty parking near the band hall, proceed to the front of the school to pick up your student, and then exit the faculty parking lot onto Tiger Trail by turning left. Right turns from the front of the school will not be allowed.

Entering Tiger Trail from GA-54 or LaFayette Avenue:

Vehicles entering Tiger Trail from LaFayette Avenue will NOT have access to the front of the school or the bus
loop.
Please turn left to enter the Senior Parking lot at the guard house. Pick your student up from the senior lot either near the building or at the tower. Then cross into the Underclassman lot using the road nearest the gym. Exit the underclassman lot using the exit closest to the Amphitheatre and turn right. Left turns from the student parking lot will not be allowed. No one will be allowed to exit from the Senior parking lot. Please take a moment before school each day to discuss with your student where you will pick them up based on this information.


Cafeteria Accounts

The cafeteria will not be accepting checks for the rest of the school year. Payment can still be made online via MyLunchMoney.com.


Four Seniors Sign National Letters of Intent

On Wednesday, April 11, 2012, Charmayne Jordan signed to play basketball at Central Georgia Technical College in Macon Georgia, Iyuna Dugger signed to play at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia, Jade Forest signed to play at Lander University in South Carolina, and Schaquilla Nunn signed to play at Winthrop University in South Carolina.

Two Business Students Win Fayette Chamber of Commerce's

Jr. Entrepreneur Competition

Nisa Floyd and Amanda McLeroy worked diligently throughout the school year to develop business plans for a business they would one day like to own in Fayette County. The competition was open to all business students in Fayette County. Two awards were given out at the Fayette Chamber of Commerce Partners in Education Breakfast on April 26 and our students won both awards! Nisa Floyd won 1st place for her business plan for Undine Botanicals and Amanda McLeroy won runner-up for her business plan for Baking in Flower. Both students received a scholarship for a week-long Entrepreneurship Internship at Clayton State University and Nisa also won a notebook computer! The students worked under the guidance of Mrs. Melissa Leonard, Business Education Teacher.
